JCI Executive Search International's client, a holding company that has license in multimedia business and value added service and the new development of application service, is currently seeking for the following position:
VICE PRESIDENT, STRATEGIC PLANNING
based in Jakarta Indonesia
PURPOSE OF JOB
Reporting to Director Portfolio Planning and Corporate Development this role will be responsible for developing long and short term plans in line with the company's strategic direction
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Drives sustainable growth of the company and its portfolio of subsidiaries
- Support the Director Portfolio Planning and Corporate Development and interfacing with VP Subsidiary to prepare Macro Strategy and corresponding directives for the company
- Draft the company's portfolio micro strategy and strategic objectives relevant for the company internally and subsidiaries
- Provide oversight / reviewing development of annual budget plan and investment plans
- Finalize setting of annual strategic objectives
- Assist divisions and subsidiaries to develop / implement plan
- Improve performance and reduce variance from targets by reviewing overall corporate performance, furthering expertise and awareness of leading industry practices, new developments, and emerging trends and making recommendations to enhance the company's corporate plans accordingly
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION
- Preferably advanced degree
- 7-10 years experience in consulting, strategic planning, and/or operations management experience
- Understanding of the IT Managed services sector or Media and Entertainment sector
- Experience from the big 4 consulting firm, or other prominent global consulting firm is highly desired
- Demonstrated ability to build consensus and drive execution of results
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to drive multiple processes simultaneously with limited oversight
- Proven leader and ability to work well with others
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
- Clear focus on execution with quality
